Using Auto-Response in Localyser

Localyser’s Auto-Response feature helps you save time and stay consistent when replying to customer reviews. Depending on your plan and your settings, you can automate responses for reviews with text, without text, or both.

What Is Auto-Response?

Auto-Response helps you automatically reply to reviews based on your chosen rules.
There are now two ways to automate responses

You can access the Auto-Response settings by going to:
Settings > Responses, then clicking the Auto Response button next to the page title.

1. Standard Auto-Response (No-Text Reviews)


It automatically responds to reviews without text, using your General templates.

  • Works only on reviews with no written comment

  • Response is triggered based on the review’s star rating

  • Language used is the language selected in your Auto-Response settings

2. Auto-Response Using ChatGPT (Text + No-Text Reviews)

This option allows you to automate responses using ChatGPT, including reviews with text.

ChatGPT will:

  • Write a personalized response based on the content of the review

  • Reply in the same language as the review

  • Follow your rules for tone, rating, brand, signature, and links

You can choose to automate:

  • Reviews with text

  • Reviews without text

  • All reviews


What You Can Customize

The Auto-Response feature includes a wide set of customization options so you stay in control.

✔ Review Type

Choose when the system should auto-respond:

  • With text

  • Without text

  • All reviews

✔ Rating Filters

Decide which ratings should receive an automatic response:

  • Positive

  • Neutral

  • Negative

You can set separate rules for with-text and no-text reviews.

✔ Language Behavior

  • Reviews with text: ChatGPT replies in the review’s original language.

  • Reviews without text: The reply uses the language you selected in the Auto-Response settings.

✔ Brand Selection

Enable Auto-Response only for specific brands in your account.

✔ Information URL

Choose which information link to include in responses:

  • Localyser’s default URL

  • A custom URL you provide

✔ Signature

Select which signature should be added to the end of each reply.

✔ Excluded Words

Some reviews may require a manual response (for example: “poisoning”).
To prevent automatic replies in sensitive situations, there is a built-in list of excluded words.

  • Auto-Response will NOT respond if any excluded word appears in the review.

  • You can edit this exclusion list or upload your own list.


When to Use Auto-Response

Auto-Response is ideal if you want to:

  • Save time by automating repetitive responses

  • Maintain consistent communication across locations and brands

  • Ensure every customer feels acknowledged

  • Automatically respond in the correct language
